Have you ever wondered about getting a brand at a discounted price so low that you start to think they are losing money on it? Well it’s all possible and in this article I am gonna try to show you how you can find these things that we call Warehouse sales and how to be prepared for them.
How do you find warehouse sales?
Well it’s a pretty hard thing to do and there is no method that can assure you you will find some. If you live in a very big city just like ( New York, Montreal, LA, Chicago and Toronto) well you are pretty lucky since you are definitely guaranteed that there will be some sales and from pretty big brands also. To find them you are gonna need to pay a little bit more attention to Instagram ads, tik tok ads and real life publicity in your town. From all of this sometimes you will find some really good sales. Second, you need to follow all the big brands that you would like to go to their warehouse sales, for example recently JJJJound made an announcement on their instagram page that they were doing a sale and I could have not known that if I wasn’t following them. Third, you can try to go take a look on google and facebook, type (your town name warehouse sale) and you never know you could always fall on something really good.
What are warehouse sale and how should you go with them
Warehouse sales are pretty straight forward, when a clothing company for exemple doesn’t sold out their stock well they are gonna keep all the rest in a warehouse of them and when they wanna get rid of it fast they are gonna make a warehouse sale over a couple of days where they are gonna try to sell the most amount of stock possible even if the prices are not to good for them. To understand how most of them it’s pretty easy you just have to know that the best stock is always gonna be on the first day, the cheapest stock is gonna be most of the time on the last day because in most of them they are putting cumulative discount on the last day so that they can clear most of the inventory. The best sale I went to was the OVO sale in Montreal. On the last day I had caps for 3$ that retail for 60$, pants for 23$ they retail for 145$. Yes the prices were crazy and if you search well you are definitely gonna find some interesting stuff. Always look for collaboration, don’t take too long at the table next to the entry, in the racks to go even faster just take a look at the tags to see the collaboration if you are there to resell.
You have to keep in mind that there is always a good amount of profit to be made when going into these sales but if you are not there to resell you are always gonna find a way to remake your entire closet for pretty cheap.
